I have a ton to share with you guys from my first trip to the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, and I hope you were able to follow along with me on social media through my Instagram Stories (AshleyOnK923)/Snapchat (ItsMeAsh10) and Facebook (Ashley’s All Access) because there were some pretty amazing personal interactions and musical moments that took place!

Here’s some of the most memorable moments from my personal experience (and not even close to all of it):

Luke Bryan at the UMG Luncheon at the Mother Church (Ryman Auditorium)

Luke & his wife Caroline recently lost a niece who was just a baby – the death was said to be from unspecified issues with her kidneys, liver and heart. Luke and the Bryan/Boyer family has been through so much tragedy. You could certainly hear it in his voice on stage that day in Nashville. I could hear the hurt and emotion when he sang his song “Fast” – which he mentioned singing the song that day meant a lot more that day because of what had happened. Luke also mentioned that he’s been seeing everyone’s posts come in sending thoughts & prayers, and that it means the world to him and his family.

Luke also divulged that he had too much to drink at the Super Bowl and challenged Michael Phelps to a swim race! Michael Phelps has since accepted – we’ll see what happens!

Sam Hunt also played the same UMG Luncheon at the Ryman Auditorium – I was honestly very excited to see Sam because he’s taken quite a break over the last year and I know he’s been keeping quiet since his recent engagement to Hannah. But, Sam revealed while he’s working on new music, he’s also trying to keep his fiance’ happy as they are getting married in a couple months! He played us his new song, “Body Like A Backroad” which is currently the #1 song in the country on iTunes. (Stay tuned for video going up on my YouTube page)

Keith Urban had a private event inside the Ford Theatre at the Country Music Hall of Fame where he literally came in – sat down, and chatted with us about the making of his album “Ripcord.” This honestly had to have been one of the coolest musical experiences of my career. Below is just a snippet of what Keith showed us – (I will have the full videos posted to my YouTube channel this week here).

Keith Urban, Vince Gill, and Chris Stapleton. Yes. This Happened. I don’t think I even need to explain anything here, just watch these three unbelievably musicians jam out together at the Ryman Auditorium during the UMG Luncheon:

I ran into High Valley at their record label party “Warner Wednesday” and these guys are no stranger to Orlando. You know them by their song “Make You Mine” – I was so excited to learn that Curtis is expecting a baby on April Fools Day! I asked him what they are having, if they have a name, etc. and Curtis told me that they will not be finding out the gender – and that of ALL 23 grandchildren their parents have – not one of them they knew the gender beforehand!

RaeLynn was as sweet as ever. We talked about her hubby Josh and how he’s been at basic training for the Army. She’s doing well, but of course misses him so much. She’s already made a lot of other friends who are military wives and says how great it is to have others to talk to about it.

RaeLynn & I in Nashville

Dan + Shay were at the same party I saw High Valley at – let’s just say drinks were involved and our boss ordered lemon drop shots that Shay took part in – I regretted that shot later 😛

But – one of my favorite parts of that evening was when Dan’s fiance’ Abby, pulled out her phone to show me her wedding dress. It it absolutely stunning. And, because I respect their privacy I won’t give details – but she is going to be an absolutely gorgeous bride! Also, her ring, is INSANELY beautiful, and big 🙂 Great job, Dan!

Russell Dickerson is a newer artist who is on tour with Thomas Rhett right now. He is awesome – along with his wife Kailey that I met inside their label suite where Russell played his song “Yours.” If you look “Yours” up on Spotify he’s got over 27 million streams on that song and my best friend actually even used it at her wedding for her first dance back in September! Here’s the intimate performance I recorded for you 🙂

Old Dominion had a special event with their record label, Sony – it was a Girls Night with “Five Guys” – and, five other guys who I absolutely adore – the guys of Old Dominion! I CANNOT wait for you to hear their new song, “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” that we’re going to be playing on March 10th on K92.3! The guys were so much fun that night – we ate some burgers, had some drinks, and danced the night away while getting a sneak peek of their new song.
