Thomas Rhett has had a lot of changes happen over the last few months/years and things are going to continue to keep changing for a little while longer! The successful singer and his wife Lauren adopted their daughter, Willa Gray from Uganda back a few months ago and Thomas Rhett revealed that she is adapting to her new life “way better” than he and wife Lauren ever expected her to. He tells The Boot, “Going from where she came from to being here, I thought that she would be overwhelmed and really shy. But she’s never met a stranger. You can bring her into a huge, crowded room, and she’s like the life of the party, or she can chill and watch Moana for the 58th time this week.” Rhett also opens up about how his and wife Lauren’s parenting skills will change when their newborn daughter arrives in the next few weeks. “We don’t have any idea what we’re doing. At all,” he adds. “I feel like we kind of got spoiled on the front end, because Willa sleeps 12 hours a night, so that’s not going to happen when the newborn comes.” And the newborn will be here any day now as Lauren is 39 weeks pregnant with their 2nd child but 1st biological child. Which has Thomas Rhett feeling ALL the feels…

“I’m definitely softer, a little bit more emotional just because you know it’s just been me and Lauren for four years. When we got Willa home there’s was just such a sleugh of emotions because I had met Willa several times being in Uganda for like a week here or two weeks there but I never fully felt like she knew me as her dad yet because I kinda was this guy that had to be back in America to work. The first time she said I love you in the way that a twenty months year old would say that  I was just like, ‘I’m done.’ She’s only been home for a little over two months and I feel like I’ve already been a dad for forever. “
