Cole Swindell took over Nashville’s Lower Broadway on Tuesday night (10/10), giving a headlining performance at Tootsie’s 57th Anniversary Birthday Bash. But that isn’t all that was celebrated. Cole Swindel had his 7th consecutive No.1 single with “Flatliner” and also, it was the first home game of the NHL Nashville Predators who play right there at the Bridgestone Arena, across the street from Tootsies.
Before the No. 1 party got underway, Cole said the Las Vegas shooting hasn’t been far from his mind as he planned to take the outdoor stage in front of a large crowd of people: “We’ve all had Vegas on our minds, and just…especially me. I wasn’t there, so I don’t think you can comprehend what those folks went through without being there, but I can just…I can only imagine. And to be able to come out here tonight in Nashville – Preds first home game, Tootsie’s birthday. I just hope everybody comes out, but that is something I’ve thought about. You know, I’m going to keep showing up playing music as long as they keep showing up. And, it’s a big family and I think we’re gonna have a good time tonight.”
