This year is already looking to be a hot one. And our year is jam-packed with country concerts and festivals! Some of our favorite artists have come together with Sounds Like Nashville to give us tips and tricks on how to survive those hot country days.
Cam is about hydration, sunscreen, and big hats. Maren Morris says “Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about wearing a fanny pack because they’re perfect for festivals.” And they are less hot than a backpack, very smart!
Scotty McCreery stressed hydrating early on vs JUST during the events, because it’s the only way to make it to late night. He’s also a fan of drinking Pedialyte. Also, Jennifer Fieldler from Smithfield gave genius advice… “Don’t ever wear grey, because [it’s] the worst to show sweat.” Carly Pearce piggybacked on that saying “I sweat a lot, and it ain’t fun. But just wear minimal clothes.”
Kip Moore closed off the advice by saying, stay away from types of fried food while drinking. He said “Stay away from corn dogs. Tequila and corn dogs will take you right down.”
This year is filled with some amazing shows and you don’t want to miss any of it just because it’s hot. Take advice from our friends, here! 🙂
