Jason Aldean had a rough time at the end of last year with everything that happened in Vegas. And he has opened up a little here and there, but never like this. He was featured on a new episode of the PBS series “Breaking Big,” which profiles how some of the world’s most influential artists, innovators, athletes and leaders achieved success. That’s pretty big for him! Many things were the topic of conversation, during the 26-minute clip, including the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, 2017, that left 58 people dead and [More]

Luke Bryan is one of the most fun-loving artists in country music. He loves hanging out with fans and interacting with them during his shows. But now, things are different. He was talking about how security has drastically changed since the Route 91 tragedy.
For example, the CMT awards weren’t too long ago and he said that he couldn’t improvise and go mix it up with some fans who were hanging out across the street.
Quote, “I used to run and high five the whole damn street. That was prior to this new crazy world we’re living in. And [More]

It was just over 6 months ago, in the very same spot that the ACM Awards were held this year, that a senseless tragedy took the lives of 58 people and injured 851 others during a country music festival. Route 91 Harvest Festival will never be forgotten, especially for the fans, artists, and crew that were there that dreadful day. This last weekend, all the country music artists were back in Las Vegas to celebrate one of the greatest genres of music, but of course, couldn’t forget what happened there just over 6 months ago so the Acadamy of Country [More]

There is no doubt that the events of last October’s Route 91 Music Festival massacre made some people think about how big events were going to change in the future. Well, despite holding 15 of the last 16 Academy of Country Music Award ceremonies in Las Vegas, event organizers tell The Washington Post they “contemplated” picking another town in the wake of that tragedy, where 58 concertgoers were left dead. Ultimately, however, ACM CEO Pete Fisher says, “As difficult it will be for some people, everyone wanted to come back to Vegas. Moving the show out of Las Vegas this year would [More]

After a horrific night in Vegas back in October, a group of survivors from the Route 91 Harvest Festival have gotten together to try and get Jason Aldean to come finish his set from that night. Jason thinks the idea is great. He says, “I completely understand where they’re coming from. I appreciate…I think it’s more of the gesture than anything. I appreciate the fact that they want us to come back and, you know, want us to finish our show and wanna come see it. You know, [it] means a lot to us. So, I appreciate that and we’ll just see [More]

This has been the start of a new year after a very emotionally draining 2017. Last night at the 2018 Grammy Awards Maren Morris, Eric Church, and the Brothers Osborne performed a Grammy-winning, Eric Clapton song “If I Saw You In Heaven.” The touching performance was to honor the victims of the Vegas Route 91 Harvest Festival & the Manchester bombing.
Each one of the country music stars took the stage during last October’s Route 91 Harvest Festival, where a gunman opened fire on the crowd from inside a 32nd-floor suite at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. At least 58 were killed and hundreds [More]

Even though it’s been months since the horrific events that happened in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, we are still remembering and honoring those who died that day. And we will continue to every single day. Especially at big events like the Grammy Awards. Eric Church, Maren Morris, and Brothers Osborne are set to perform at the award show on January 28th and have planned a special Grammys tribute to concert-goers who were killed on October 1st at the 2017 music event. All three of those acts performed at the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival that weekend where [More]

Luke Combs was one of many country artists to play the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Vegas this weekend. As a matter of fact, he was on that very stage just hours before the shooting. Thank God he and his crew are safe – he also shared this message:
